Glossary

3D Printing is more complex than simply hitting print on a standard paper printer. There's always more to learn. This is a basic introduction to get you started.

8. Micro SD This is a memory device that holds the 3D printing files, Time lapse Videos and Log information.
9. Tool head This component contains multiple parts like the Extruder, Hot end, Part Cooling Fan, Front Housing, Tool head Board, Extruder Motor.
12. Heated bed This component is where the Build Plate is magnetically installed, which moves on the Z-axis during printing.
13. Build Plate This component is the surface which magnetically attaches to the Heated bed and the model is printed on.

1. Nozzle & Hot End This component is melting the filament before the printer lays down the layer lines of the 3D printed model.
